Basic Sea Survival training is one of the trainings that must be passed by workers in the Oil & Gas industry, especially those located offshore. The high level of risk and safety awareness is growing, and applicable international and regional regulations make BSS Training a minimum requirement that must be met in addition to higher level training.
Basic Sea Survival or the basic theory of resilience at sea includes the introduction of security and safety devices at sea, their names and types as well as how they operate and at the same time practice.
HSE Prime held BSS Training which was held for 1 day. This training is in collaboration with Omega Safety Indonesia which has received a license from the British Safety Council at the Omega Training Center, Tirta Bhadrika Swimming Pool, Jln. Raya Kemang. Bogor District, West Java.
Provide participants with knowledge, skills and confidence in the event of an offshore emergency with the use of appropriate emergency equipment, the ability to provide assistance for survival in open water.

- Training is conducted in several modules and each module consists of several segments. Each lesson segment will always remind the priority in survival actions, training implementation using the Learning By Experience learning approach, and Learning By Doing. Practice for an objective approach to survival at sea using a standard swimming pool with a minimum depth of 3 m, a maximum of 5 m accompanied by water entry platform facilities, practice is carried out with the supervision of instructors and experienced teams in their fields who will bring trainees closer to the objective approach as survivors when surviving at sea.
- Watch the presentation slides, material and visual images of survival techniques at sea and introduction to marine survival equipment, examples of cases of accidents at sea and preventive steps in dealing with survival situations at sea, controlled phase, uncontrolled phase.

Sea survival trainees are required to attend one day of practice in the swimming pool.
Before participants go down to practice in the pool, participants must be checked by nurses / paramedics to ensure the last health (physical condition, blood pressure)
